For the July 15th deworming cycle, it's time for Ivermectin again! A total of 28 tubes required to deworm the entire herd. Ivermectin will go on sale at Mill's Fleet Farm® for $3.99 per tube soon!

Ole Man Cole will require medications this summer (Prednisone) to help his asthma and breathing difficulties in the summer heat and humidity. Twenty (20) pills are mashed and top-dressed on Cole's feed twice per day - 400 pills which support Cole for ten (10) days are $100. Four (4) ten foot (10') green economy gates from Stockman Farm Supply needed to partition off two (2) "stalls" in the Gelding's Side of the big barn. We need the stalls in bad weather, for feeding purposes, and to allow healing when one of the horses needs special cares.

Seven (7) Priefert Mfg Co 12 foot Premier Horse Corral Panels in Grey (may be found at Mills Fleet Farm® in Menomonie, WI). Stock No. PP12GY. These panels allow us to take our horses to special events at locations other than at THE FARM.

50 lb bags of alphalfa cubes to supplement the feedings to Ole Man Cole and to The Herd as treats; rate of use is roughly one (1) bag per week; may be purchased at Valley Feeds, or Stockman's Farm Supply, or Fleet Farm


50 lb bags of Sunflower Oilers for bird feeders; rate of use is roughly one (1) bag every two (2) weeks

Given the rising cost of feed, one-half of The Herd is no longer receiving daily feedings as of 02/01/08. Some of these horses are in their growth stages or have special needs of rebuilding after starvation or individual medical conditions requiring the nutrition contained in the feed. Your sponsorship of any one of these horses for feedings will ultimately create a healthier horse with less medical bills later in its life:

A sturdy three sided roofed shelter from wind and rain and sun for the corral, allowing PONY! and Gracie to live in that "pasture"
